Du Huynh

Board Chair & CEO

Du Huynh serves as VPS's Chair of the Board of Directors and Chief Executive Officer since 2025, where he leads the organization's strategic vision, national programs, and partnerships. He is also the founding President of VPS, having established the organization in 2013 with the goal of building a strong, connected, and supportive community of Vietnamese students and professionals across the United States.


Du is an experienced leader in nonprofit development and community building, with a track record of growing mission-driven organizations and fostering cross-sector collaboration. Since founding VPS, he has guided the organization through multiple phases of expansion, strengthening its national presence and advancing initiatives focused on professional development, mentorship, and civic engagement. Under his leadership, VPS has evolved into a structured and impactful nationwide network that connects thousands of Vietnamese professionals and students.


Throughout his tenure, Du has worked closely with academic institutions, corporate partners, and community organizations to expand opportunities for Vietnamese Americans and promote leadership development. His work emphasizes both professional excellence and cultural connection, helping to bridge generations and support a globally engaged Vietnamese diaspora.


Du's leadership approach is grounded in inclusivity, long-term sustainability, and innovation. He has played a key role in shaping VPS's governance structure and organizational strategy, ensuring its continued growth and relevance in a rapidly changing environment.


He remains committed to advancing VPS's mission of empowering the next generation of Vietnamese leaders and strengthening the global Vietnamese community through collaboration, knowledge-sharing, and social impact.


Currently, he is an institutional data administrator at University of Wisconsin Oshkosh, and visiting lecturer at Fulbright University Vietnam.

Doctorate Degree in Urban Economics and Public Policy, and Master’s in Public Administration from Harvard University
